Antiques needed for Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice Auction

ByJudy Dyke July 31, 2014

I am honoured to be a patron of Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice. The first patient was admitted on March 5th 1979 and thus 2014 marks the 35th Anniversary of the Hospice.

Serving a population of 1.4 million across Birmingham and Sandwell, the Hospice cares for more than 1,000 patients a year, their families and loved ones, no matter how young or old, throughout the patient’s illness and after bereavement, for as long as necessary. To maintain this vital service across Birmingham and Sandwell £7.4 million has to be raised each year.

In this anniversary year our friends and also long term supporters of the Hospice, William Farmer and Nick Davies of Fieldings Auctioneers of Stourbridge have kindly offered to take 35 antique lots (each valued in excess of £30) to feature in their auction on 6 September. If you would like to donate any antique items to support this wonderful charity – please do contact me at Tyndallwoods and we can arrange collection if possible.

Thank you.
