Our Great Sport Relief Bake Off… Raised over £200

ByJudy Dyke March 10, 2014

At Tyndallwoods we have long been supporters of Comic Relief and this year we were happy to be part of the Great Sport Relief Bake Off.

12 intrepid chefs were each awarded an apron for taking part and the winner won a fabulous David Beckham (Ambassador for Sport Relief) paper tote bag.

We were all happy to tuck into the cakes entered into the competition and all proceeds of the sale went to the wonderful work of the Charity.

We raised over £200 and had a fun morning.

Sport Relief brings family, friends and communities together to have fun and raise life-changing cash:

  • Helping people overcome inequality and have a say in decisions that affect their lives, whoever and wherever they are.
  • Reducing violence, abuse and exploitation.
  • Empowering people, organisations and networks to play an effective role in their communities and society, as well as nurturing talent and leadership.
  • Tackling financial poverty, and enabling economic resilience in families and communities, as well as supporting enterprise and employment.
  • Improving the lives of vulnerable young people in the UK, and enabling some of the world’s poorest people to gain access to vital services such as health and education.
