Some days are just great!

I have the honour to assist John Barrington Edwards who lives in Sunrise Nursing Home, Edgbaston. Barry is proud of his history as a flight engineer in 49 Squadron Lancaster Bombers flying out of Syeston, Nottingham. I was pleased to arrange for David Jelfs (secretary) and Bill Wheeler (president) of the Royal Air Force Association, Birmingham/Moseley branch to visit Barry. They kindly presented Barry with a Lancaster Bomber tie and Battle of Britain Memorial Flight pin badge. They truly represented the association’s motto offering ‘Friendship Help Support’.
