Summer holidays are coming… Is it time to review your Will?

As we move into the holiday season for many clients it is a time that they consider updating their Wills. We are more than happy to offer this service.

However this is also sadly a time of year when many people are involved in the administration of an estate.

May we share here some initial thoughts.

• Before booking the funeral do make sure that there are sufficient monies in a bank or building society that can be released to meet the same.
• If you expect a large number of guests at the Crematorium you can ask the funeral directors to arrange an extended time for the service.
• Remember the concept of the ‘Executors’ Year’ in making significant progress in the administration of an estate. Undue pressure may lead to errors.
• Consider placing Section 27 Trustee Act Notices to give the executors appropriate protection.
